Description: | The right to strike constitutes one of the most prominent manifestations of freedom of association. Its recognition came within the framework of international conventions issued by the United Nations related to human rights, and all regional international instruments at the European, American, African and Arab levels. The opinion of the International and Arab Labor Organizations also settled on Considering it a fundamental right and a manifestation of freedom of association guaranteed by many agreements, recommendations and international standards related to exercising the right to strike The right to strike was enshrined in most of the Algerian state constitutions, but this enshrinement did not come absolutely.Rather, like other rights, it was subjected to a set of special provisions through Law No.23/08 relating to the prevention and settlement of collective labor disputes and the exercise of the right to strike. |
