Description:	This study aims to highlight the role played by social responsibility in improving the performance of the conomic institution, and to drop this study in practice the Algerian Water Foundation was selected a unit of Mila, and to achieve the objectives of the study was prepared the questionnaire form, where distributed (40) forms to the workers of the institution, for the purpose of identifying the reality of the institution adopting the dimensions of social responsibility and the performance of the economic institution and relying on it to evaluate the performance of the institution as a whole, and to know the relationship between the variables of the head, ocial responsibility As an independent variable and performance as a dependent variable, and to test the hypotheses of dr. Rasa was used a range of statistical methods, such as average arithmetic, standard deviation and ssociation to reach results that help us to judge the institution, and the most important findings of the study is to adopt the dimensions of social responsibility by the institution leads to the realization of the principle of profit, as well as gain good relations with its customers, as well as improve its reputation, which leads to improved performance, including reaching a place that qualifies it to compete with major institutions
