| Description: | Case study of the Algerian Institution for Insurance - The success of economic institutions at the present time depends on their ability to adapt to the surrounding environment, face the various and continuous threats and risks, and keep pace with the rapid changes taking place at various levels. VIThis challenge can only be achieved by adopting risk management in the economic institution, but adopting the latter requires providing the necessary knowledge. By working to achieve effective integration of risk knowledge management with various other departments, the most important of which is knowledge management, which plays a critical role in providing important information and valuable knowledge, which is the main component in the course of confronting risks and reining in the surrounding environment. Based on the foregoing, this study attempted to highlight the role of knowledge management in risk management for the Algerian Corporation for Insurance (CAAT), where this study relied on the descriptive analytical approach, and also relied on a questionnaire distributed to employees and workers of the Algerian Corporation for Insurance, the agency of Mila and its branches, whose number reached (41) employee and worker in the institution. This study showed the impact of knowledge management on the stages of risk management (discovering risks, assessing risks, identifying alternatives and choosing the most appropriate means to confront risks, implementing the decision and reviewing the risk management program), and this study also showed a discrepancy in the impact of knowledge management on each stage. of these stages. |
