Description: The study attempted to assess the impact of oil price changes on the inflation rate in Algeria during the period (2013- 2018) through the exploratory research and deductive research phases, we have assigned the xploratory research the variables affecting the phenomenon of inflation, which have to do with oil rent. We also described the direction of the relationships between those variables according to economic theory, up to the formulation of assumptions. As for the standard inferential research, we tried to test the extent to which these hypotheses were realized in the study complex for Determine the impact of oil price changes on a record inflation rate in Algeria during (2013- 2018) And we found out The existence of an inverse relationship between changes in oil prices and the rate of inflation, i.e. when petroleum rents decrease, it leads to a contraction of aggregate supply, and this in turn affects aggregate demand by reducing government spending by the state. Also, consumption is affected by rising prices. As for exports and imports, this is affected when the oil rents decrease, the overall supply decreases, meaning a decline in exports, knowing that imports are always ncreasing by virtue of that there is no real production, which necessitates the government’s policy of economic closure to limit imports and thus increase demand for local goods, which raises their prices every These indicators explain that lower oil prices lead to higher inflation rates
