Description:	This study incluses two of the modern critical curricula, namely the stylistic approach, and the thematic approach if we try to apply them to the poem may's husband cried by the poet DhulRamah. This research has included in its beginning definitions for each of the following terms :the term stylistics, as well as the term subject, and the term objectivity, and we also dealt with in it the emergence of stylistics and its most important directions, then we upon the steps to be followed in the thematic curriculum as well as its most important pioneers, and finally we included the relationship between stylistic and objectivity. In addition to our attempt to apply levels of stylistic analysis (phonemic level, compositional level, semantic level) to the poem, and extract the most important themes or themes prominent and dominant in it
