dc.description	The use of electric motors in the industrial sector has become increasingly important, especially with the development of power electronics. However, the use of these engines poses many problems, including start-up problems . Our work focuses on the study of the impact of the start-up of electric motors on the quality of the industrial electricity grid, such as voltage drops during and after start-up, increasing the start-up current to exorbitant values, the start-up time becoming too long. In addition, propose and solutions for these problems, such as offsetting reactive power, insertion of VFD and lag in start-up time. In the end, do a comparative study between these different solutions, in order to justify the choice that is the insertion of VFD	en_US
