Abstract: The study dealt with the role of strategic planning for human resources in achieving the competitive advantage of a sample of business organizations in the diverse field of activity. The sample members were directed to a detailed questionnaire for the study variables. After analyzing the responses of the respondents, we concluded that strategic planning for human resources equally important is the strategic planning of production, sales and marketing. It plays a pivotal role but is in the forefront of the organization's needs, because the human element is the one who moves the wheel of the organization and drives it to elevate its performance to the level that surpasses the other competitors for a period of time, and thus it has achieved a competitive advantage to the organization.
