Abstract

This research deals with the study of verb structures in the Diwan of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib from two erspectives: morphological and semantic. It aims to reveal the structural characteristics of the verbs used in the collection, and to clarify their connotations and meanings in different contexts, which contributes to highlighting the rhetorical and stylistic dimension in the collection’s texts, This study emphasized the importance of analyzing verb structures to gain a deeper understanding of literary texts. It demonstrated how Imam Ali skillfully used language, making his actions consistent with their meanings and supporting his rhetorical and spiritual goals.
