This study, entitled "Stylistic Characteristics in Ahsan Dawwas's Diwan "States of Illusion in the Presence of the Lady of Meaning - Selected Models," examines the stylistic structure of the poetic text by combining theoretical aspects with applied analysis, focusing on the most prominent stylistic phenomena in the collection. The study adopts a structural stylistic approach, which combines precise linguistic analysis with consideration of the aesthetic and semantic dimensions of the texts. This approach explores stylistic phenomena at multiple levels, revealing the uniqueness of the poetic writing of the poet under study. In the theoretical section, the paper reviews the concept of style as it appeared among ancient Arabs through rhetoric and literary criticism, focusing on the concepts of eloquence, rhetoric, and rhetoric. It then moves on to examine the evolution of the view of style in modern Western thought, with the emergence of modern linguistics and the expansion of textual studies. The paper also addresses the emergence of stylistics as a modern theory in the West, linking language and literature on the one hand, and taste and scientific analysis on the other, with a focus on the transformations it has witnessed between structuralism and pragmatic and psychological trends. Part of the study was devoted to addressing stylistic trends such as structural stylistics, affective stylistics, psychological stylistics, and descriptive stylistics. The study also monitored the three levels of stylistic analysis adopted in this field: the phonetic level, the syntactic level, and the semantic level, as methodological approaches to nderstanding the artistic structure of the literary text and accurately analyzing its components. In the applied section, the study applies these three levels to selected examples from the collection: The phonetic level: In this level, sounds were analyzed in terms of voiced and unvoiced, explosive and flowing, and articulatory positions, with a study of poetic rhythm, meter and rhyme, internal music such as repetition, alliteration, and rhyme, and external music through meter and rhyme, revealing the aesthetic and phonetic dimension of the texts. The syntactic level: Addressing sentence structures, with a focus on verbal and nominal sentences, deletion and mention, reflecting the poet's style in constructing and condensing meaning. Semantic level: The study began with a definition of semantics in language and terminology, then addressed the semantics of letters, especially prepositions, and the semantics of words and phrases in their poetic contexts. Symbols were also analyzed as a suggestive means with cultural and aesthetic dimensions, in addition to studying the contrastive structure that gives the text a complex semantic energy and reflects the intellectual and psychological tensions in the poetic experience.en_US
