Abstract: This study, entitled: The Educational Text from the Perspective of Text Linguistics - The Civics Book for the Fifth Grade of Primary School as a Model, seeks to shed light on the issue of how to develop the learner's various skills, including values, ethics, and citizenship, and enhance his ability to use language in the social nvironment, and attempt to build an intellectual and analytical personality for the student. This study sought, in its entirety, to analyze the various texts included in this book to reveal the extent to which the conditions of textual coherence are met and to determine the extent of their compatibility with the learners' cognitive level
