| Description: | This topic aims to clarify an issue within the field of pragmatic knowledge, which is based on interactive discourse between the speaker and the listener- namely, conversational implicature in the book of Grammar meanings by Al-Samarrai. In it, we highlight the scientific aspects of implicature in a book that focuses on compositional meanings, while taking into account the contextual dimensions embedded in the structures that Al-Samarrai refers to. Implicature is considered to be embedded in grammatical matters such as word order (fronting and delaying), ellipsis, and others. |
