Abstract

This research study, entitled "The Aesthetic Construction of Biography in the Novel Souls Without Wings by Aziza Bougaada," aims to highlight the aesthetic aspect of biographical construction within the novel, based on the genetic structuralist approach. The work was carried out according to a well-structured plan consisting of an introduction, two chapters, and a conclusion. The first chapter is theoretical, in which we explored several concepts related to the topic. The second chapter is analytical, where we attempted to answer the main research question through the study of the cover image, the relationships between characters, the narrative pact, and the spatio-temporal biography. The study concluded that the aesthetic dimension permeates all the structures of the text, including the book cover, characters, time, and space—elements that together embody the aesthetic of biography in this novel.
