| Description: | This memorandum tries to work on the novel Isabel by Selim Batka, who reimagined this interesting historical character, where it uses memory and narrative fiction to build a double speech: one that modifies colonial thought through the character of Isabel, and the other comes from the daily life details of Algerian people, to reflect a silent resistance that expresses an inner conflict, which gives back their voice and identity |
