Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of digital banking services in enhancing the financial performance of banks, focusing on a case study of Banque de l'Agriculture et du Développement Rural de Mila. The specific banking services examined include electronic current accounts, electronic money transfers, and electronic bill payments. Financial performance was assessed using profitability and financial stability indicators. To achieve the study's objectives, the researchers identified the digital banking services at Banque de l'Agriculture et du Développement Rural de Mila, which have undergone digital transformation in alignment with Algeria's shift towards digitizing the banking sector. To investigate the role of these services in enhancing financial erformance across the defined dimensions, a questionnaire was prepared and distributed to a sample of bank employees. The study concluded that digital banking services have a direct impact on enhancing the bank's profitability and achieving financial stability across the various services studied. This underscores the mportance of prioritizing digitization in the bank's diverse service offerings due to its positive influence on financial performance .
