Abstract: This study aims to identify the leadership patterns and their role in human resources development through an applied study on a sample from the National Fund of Social Insurance for workers –Mila, The study dealt with two aspects, theoretical and practical aspect, the latter one included the determination of the relationship between the variables of the study. The four dimensions of leadership patterns are the independent variable (Authoritarian leadership, democratic leadership, chaotic leadership) are the independent variable and the dependent variable is about human resources development. This study dealt with a main problem: Does leadership patterns play an important role in human resource development in the National Fund for Social Insurance for workers –Mila? As well as the following sub-questions:What are the prevailing patterns of leadership in the National Fund of Social Insurance for Workers –Mila? What are the policies adopted by the National Fund of Social Insurance for workers–MilaIn the development of its human resources?Is there a relationship between leadership patterns and human resource development? In order to answer the main problem and the secondary questions we have developed the following hypotheses: − Leadership patterns play an important role in the development of human resources in the National Fund for Social Insurance for Workers–Mila. − Democratic leadership is the most effective on National Fund of Social Insurance for Workers–Mila. − The National Fund for Social Insurance for Workers -Mila relies on training, organizational development and training in the development of its human resources. − There is a statistically significant correlation between leadership patterns and human resource development in the National Fund for Social Insurance for Workers–Mila. In this study, we relied on the questionnaire as a main tool on a randomized stratified sample of 86 employees, and the observation as an aid tool. The study used descriptive analytical method, and a number of statistical methods were used to achieve the following results:الملخص − Leadership patterns do not play an important role in the development of human resources in the National Fund of Social Security Workers–Mila. − The Democratic Leadership is the most applicable in the National Fund of Social Security Workers–Mila. − The National Fund of Social Security depends on training, organizational development and training in the development of human resources
