Abstract: This study aimed at clarifying the relationship between administrative leadership and the functional erformance of the economic institution from the point of view of the managers and employees of the Algerian Water Corporation Wilayat Mila, highlighting the most important concepts related to administrative leadership and how to improve the functional performance of the institution in order to achieve profits and competitive advantage and develop its position in the market.To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire consisting of three axes was formulated, the first axis related to personal data, the second axis was devoted to the dimensions of administrative leadership, and the third axis was devoted to job performance, where 30 forms were subjected to a study after the data were collected and processed in the statistical program SPSS, and the study came to a set of results, the most important of which was the existence of an impact relationship between administrative leadership and job performance, and the study came to a set of recommendations, the most important of which was urging economic institutions to adopt the concept of administrative leadership as an organized method that contributes to the continuous improvement of collecting the activities of the institution, thereby improving her job performance and achievement of her goals The future.
