Abstract

This study dealt with the problem of diphthongs among readers and linguists, a comparative study in Surat Al-Baqarah.As for the applied part, it dealt with extracting and explaining the diphthongs found in Surat Al-Baqarah, and the study showed through its basic hypothesis that they face a problem in distinguishing between what the readers slur and what the linguists slur, and perhaps this is due to several reasons, the most important of which is: the multiplicity of readings in addition to problems related to students and the way they receive it.
