Abstract

In our research entitled (the sea will spit me out (by(Fatima guidouch) ,we addressed the issue of the event in the narrative process and its various interactions with the elements that make up the structure . we were able to do this by dividing the research into two chapters, with an introduction in which we presented the problem and concluded the methodology. And a conclusion in which we reached a set of results, the most important of which are: The event is the backbone of the story. The topics of the short story collection are inspired by lived reality.
