Abstract

The subject of our research was the description of Aws Bin Hadjr, We studied the most important developments that occured in the purpose of description in pre-islamic poetry and its important featurs and topics. Add to this, the extent to much he was able to enabody the techniques of description in his poetry and skill in using pictorial methods and the choice of words to reveal the image in the best form.
