Abstract

Our research represented the study of the structure of the poetic language of Yahya Ibn Khaldun's poetry. The structural analysis was based on three levels: compositional level, sound level and image level. This study concluded that structuralism can play a major role in expressing the different connotations that are opened by the different poems of Ibn Khaldun. The purpose of each poem, as it followed every sea of motifs and ills, and the internal music also helped to highlight the intentions of the poet who hopes to communicate it to the recipient. As for the study of the synthetic side, it helped to highlight the linguistic ability of Ibn Khaldun. for description.Thus, Ibn Khaldun's poetry may have acquired an aesthetic and semantic privacy through this structural study.
