Abstract: | Mobile learning (m-learning) as a kind of learning model allows learners to obtain learning materials anywhere and anytimeusing mobile technologies and the Internet efficient., the characteristics of mobile learning should be organized, and the way they areapplied to mobile learning activities and the application methods and the duration of the application time should be planned wellin advance. Consequently, a deeper insight into theory-based research is required to better understand the underlying motivationsthat lead academics to adopting mobile learning elements and characteristics. . Learner, teacher, environment, content and assesstment are basic elements of the complete mobile learning. The corecharacteristics of mobile learning are ubiquitous, portable size of mobile tools, blended, private, interactive, collaborative, andinstant information. The aim of this study is to describe the basic elements and characteristic of mobile learningaccording to new trends in developing technology. The paper might be useful for anyone interested in designing, preparing andimplementing a mobile learning . This study's primary goal is to learn more about how students feel about using mobile applications to learn new language andthe educatioanal apps students use to learn EFL. The researchers choose an exploratory descriptive approach using student questionnaires to help them answer the research questions and accomplish the study's goals. 115 students from English Departement classes at Mila University Center during the 2022-2023 academic year participated in the study,. The results of this study show that EFL students have good attitudes and perceptions toward learning EFL using mobile applications devices and are aware of the significant advantages these apps have for improving the learning process. |
