Abstract: EFL students face many difficulties in learning the English language, particularly with regard to the writing skill. In fact, they commit numerous errors while writing. Among these errors, learners find it difficult to write without making grammatical errors. These errors are due to the lack of corrective feedback, the latter undoubtedly lays a crucial role in improving students' writing performance. The core of the current study is to have knowledge about the effect of corrective feedback on students' grammatical errors in order to improve their writing skill. Within the context of this study, a research question is raised: What is the role of using corrective feedback on students' grammatical errors in enhancing their writing competence? In response to the question, two estionnaires were distributed to gather the necessary data from a sample of 63 EFL students of third year, and 08 teachers of written expression in the Department of Foreign Languages at Mila University Centre. The findings show that both students and teachers agree on the importance of this technique in the EFL teaching and learning process; moreover, it reinforces the students' grammar accuracy and strengthens their writing proficiency. Eventually, the research offers a variety of recommendations for pedagogy and future research with the purpose of drawing more attention to the teachers' good explanations of students' grammatical errors and providing them with effective corrective feedback.
