Abstract: | This study focused on the identity of the jews in the contemporary Arabic novel of the Iraqi Samir naqqash and the yameni Ali al-Makri, and it is tagged with: “jews and ldentity in the contemporary Arab novel Samir Naqqash and Ali al-Mokri are two models”, as it seeks to shed light on the jews,and giveing that identity is the central element for group attendance and self-affirmation. The research raises a central question represented in: how has the identity of the jews been embodied in the contemporary Arabic novel? In order to answer this question The research was distributed according to the following plan: an introduction through which one can see what identity is in terms of concept, types, and dimensions. Two chapters; the frist chapter included The jew ′image in the Arabic novel and the second analyzed The problem of the identity of the jews “shlomo al-Kurdi, I and time” by Samire naqqash and “the contemporary jews” by “Ali al-Makri”, and two appendices that included the biography of the two novels, and a list of sources and references. The research ended which the most important results were observed, using the Socio-Textual. |
