| Description: | The study aims to reveal the areas of introduction and delay and its rhetorical and technical secrets, and to identify the semantics of the words and convey them with the required meaning to receive approval and acceptance by the reader and influence him. The study included two aspects, a theoretical and an applied, in which we relied on the descriptive-analytical approach, and to test thevalidity and success of the hypotheses, we analyzed some samples of Al- Mutanabbi’s poetry at the grammatical and rhetorical levels. Theextent of the impact of Al-Mutanabbi’s presentation of parts of speech and the delay of some of them, which are due to grammaticalreasons determined by the syntactic site, and rhetorical reasons, most of which centered on emphasis and specification, care and attention to the advanced, and suspense, not to mention the aesthetic impact that he added to his poems that delight souls and taste him, and accordingly came the note Entitled: Presentation and Delay and their Rhetorical Effect in Al-Mutanabbi’sDiwan. |
