| Abstract: | يعد موضوع الحوكمة البنكية من الموضوعات المهمة في الجهاز المصرفي، نظرا لأهميته الكبيرة في البنوك، وقد جاءت هذه الدراسة لاستكشاف العلاقة بين الحوكمة البنكية وادارة المخاطر المالية. دارة المخاطر المالية و وا فقد اهتمت هذه الد ا رسة بموضوع حوكمة البنوك هذا من حيث المفهوم والأهداف والأطراف الفاعلة فيها، بالإضافة إلى إبراز مبادئ الحوكمة وجهود لجنة بازل في إدارة المخاطر المالية. كما هدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة الدور الذي تلعبه البنوك التجارية في إدارة المخاطر المالية، حيث أجريت دراسة تطبيقية على بنك الخليج وقد تبين من خلال النتائج المتوصل إليها أن هذا البنك يقوم بدور نشاء لجنة وا دارة المخاطر المالية من خلال اهتمامه الكبير بالحوكمة وا فعال تطبيق مبادئ الحوكمة مستقلة لإدارة المخاطر. |
| Description: | Motivated by the debate about the Banking governance us an important topic in the Banking System, this study investigates the relationship between banking governance and financial risk management. This study presents the banking governance, financial risk management, and their objectives and actors, in addition they clarify the governance principles and Basel’s committee efforts in managing financial risks, and analyse the role of commercial Bank in managing financial risks on the Gulf bank. The results of this research show that Gulf Bank plays an effective role on governance principles and financial risk management; through the big interest given on governance topic and the independence of the committee of risk management. |
