Abstract

The narrative structure is considered one of the analytical mechanisms of literary genres; especially the novel, as it is the most expressive of lived reality. Analyzing the life of the novel and uncovering its details helps the researcher to understand the hidden layers of the text. This can be achieved by studying the text in terms of its internal context and revealing its artistic essence and aesthetic value. The novel “the bridge of the ends” djissar elnihayet” by writer Mahmoud Taher “carries many indications” that reveal a novel with integrated artistic and literary elements. The alignment of characters, settings and times in the novel, and even the stylistic approach adopted by the writer in weaving the narrative threads, was a distinctive touch that sets this work apart from other contemporary novels
