dc.description	The fiction text “ confession of Escram” by it’s author Ezzedine Mihoubi is considered one of the most rominent modern Algerian texts that cared with the desert thems as a basic engine for narrative onstriction. The research process was carried out through two chapters thar we defined as follows: A theoretical chapter in which we talked about the concepts related to the imaginary and the desert, and how writers dealt whith them in their work, the second apter in which we touched with the manifestations of the fictional in the novel of main title of the texte, the internal headings, the temporal structure, the characters: we concluded a ser of results that confirm and even insist that the desert is a space that is full of values and semantics, and the space is open and capable of renewed artistic, aesthetic and knowledge investement, which makes us as recipients and researchers renew the call for need to focus on the desert creatively and studying by Exploiting all it’s essential potential	en_US
