dc.description	This research examines the impact of natural resource abundance on financial development in Algeria through an econometric study covering the period from 1980 to 2022. The study employs the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model.The results indicate no long-term relationship between natural resource abundance and economic liquidity as an indicator of financial development. Similarly, no long-term relationship was found between natural resource abundance (resource rents) and the private sector credit indicator as a measure of financial development.Accordingly, our findings suggest that the Algerian financial system suffers from the effects of the resource curse.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	يهدف هذا البحث إلى د را سة تأثير وفرة الموارد الطبيعية على التطور المالي في الجزا ئر، در ا سة قياسية خلال الفترة من 1980 إلى 2022 ، وذلك باستخدام نموذج الانحدار الذاتي للفجوات الزمنية ( ARDL .) حيث خلصت نتائج الد را سة إلى أنه لا توجد علاقة طويلة الأجل بين وفرة الموارد الطبيعية وسيولة الاقتصاد كمؤشر للتطور المالي، وكذلك لا توجد علاقة طويلة الأجل بين وفرة الموارد الطبيعية )ريع الموارد ( ومؤشر القروض للقطاع الخاص كمؤشر للتطور المالي. وبذلك، تشير دلائلنا إلى أن النظام المالي الجزا ئري يعاني من تأثيرا ت لعنة الموارد	en_US
