Abstract: This thesis focuses on the potential to formulate natural dietary supplements using three medicinal plants known for their nutritional and therapeutic properties: ginger (Zingiber officinale), turmeric (Curcuma longa), and clove (Syzygium aromaticum). The plant materials were dried, crushed, and ground into fine powders before undergoing a series of physicochemical analyses to assess their potential as active ingredients in supplement formulation. The results revealed a high content of bioactive compounds, particularly phenols and essential oils, which confer notable antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. This study highlights the importance of valorizing local plant resources for the development of safe, natural, and effective nutritional supplements that address current health needs while promoting sustainable development.
