L’arabe algérien dans les médias publics et privés

Abstract

Our research work is in the field of sociolinguistics and consists in carrying out a comparative sociolinguistic analysis on the place of Algerian Arabic in public and private media. The main objective of this study is to identify the differences and similarities in the use of Algerian Arabic in both types of channels. The study covers five (5) channels (three private and two public). For this purpose, we analyzed six (6) programs, each pair of programs belonging to the same type of program, one being broadcast on a public channel and the other on a private channel. The research tends to explore more the perception of Algerian viewers regarding the use of Algerian Arabic on television through the questionnaire survey.
