dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to highlight the core competencies in energy institutions and their role in implementing the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, The research was based on a field internship conducted at the national company Sonatrach, Regional Directorate of Pipeline Transport in In Amenas, Illizi Province. The study was guided by the following key question: What is the role of core competencies in the implementation of the ERP-SAP system within SONATRACH Regional Directorate of Pipeline Transport in In Aménas, Illizi? To address this question, a questionnaire was distributed to a sample of 86 executives, including 49 from the studied directorate and 37 from the ERP-SAP system implementation project team. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS software, and the findings revealed that these core competencies(leadership, technical, functional, and administrative) play a crucial role in the implementation of the ERP-SAP system at the regional directorate under study.en_US
