Abstract

This research addresses the topic of "Crime Scene Investigation Procedures in Algerian Legislation",due to its significant importance in the field of criminal investigations. The crime scene is the primary source of nformation, and a thorough and accurate examination allows for the collection of evidence that may be crucial in uncovering the truth.Our study aims to clarify how Algerian law regulates these procedures, starting with the authorities responsible for conducting the investigation, moving through the practical steps involved, and ending with the legal safeguards that protect individual rights during the process .it also discusses some of the shortcomings and challenges that hinder the effectiveness of crime scene examinations in practice.The study concludes that success of a criminal investigation often depends on the quality of the initial crime scene investigation. This highlights the need to enhance the performance of law enforcement officers, provide adequate technical resources, and review certain legal provisions to strengthen and ensure the protection of evidence and ensure the proper administration of Criminal Justice.
