dc.description.abstractThis study aims at identifying to what extent digitalization played an important role in improving the quality of public services, in the Algerian public institution and more specifically in the municipality or the local council. The study is carried out and structured in two significant chapters. The first chapter includes some fundamental information about digitalization such as its definition and its impact on the quality of public service. The second chapter tackles how digitalization is applied in reality in the Algerian public service, starting with the theoritical framework of the public service, and then highlighting the most noticeable services that use digitalization inside the municipality like the Civil status register, in addition to transforming some cards into digital format like the ID (the identity card) and the driving license .We depended in this study on both descriptive and analytical methods that suit the nature of this topic.finally, it is found out that digitalization is very essential in enhancing the quality of public service that is offered to the Algerian citizen. Digitalization ensures fast performance and Saves time and effort. Besides, it gurantees the Best Value with the minimum cost .en_US
