dc.description.abstractThe task of the school dictionary is not limited to explaining terms and defining their meanings only, but it also depends on achieving lexical adequacy so that it meets the need of learners to search for terms in various fields in a manner appropriate to their educational level. Therefore, this study aims to investigate how to define the concept of scientific terms in The pioneer school dictionary, and the mechanisms for transferring it from specialized dictionaries and old dictionaries, and working to simplify its concept to suit the group it is directed to, learners in the primary and intermediate stages.en_US
