dc.description.abstract | This study dealt with the "Medical Dictionary in the Maqamat of Al-Suyuti",and our goal in this study was to build a medical dictionary through the Maqamat Al-Suyuti, which contained scientific medical terms. The nature of the research required dividing it into two chapters: one theoretical and the other applied. In the theoretical aspect, it dealt with the emergence and development of the Maqamat (the Maqamat, the emergence of the Maqamat, (Chapter 4 - Q9) and topics in the Maqamat), as well as the Arabic dictionary and its types dictionary, types of dictionaries, between general dictionaries and specialized dictionaries and standards for building a dictionary. As for the applied aspect, we discussed the six Maqamat of Al-Suyuti while following the basic criteria for building a dictionary, which are plural and arrangement. In our study of this research, we adopted the historical approach to research the art of the Maqamat and its origins, and the inductive approach to present the content of Al-Suyuti’s Maqamat. | en_US |
