dc.description.abstractIn this research, we tried to address the topic: "The importance of employing the theory of linguistic communication in teaching comprehension of utterances in the intermediate stage of the fourth year" - as a model - and through it we learned about the concept of linguistic communication, a historical overview of it, and the extent of linguists' contribution to this theory, in addition to understanding the utterance that The new urriculum paid attention to the operative and oral expression because it is the basis for opening the field of learning. We also touched on the contents of understanding the utterance in the Arabic language book for the fourth year average, as well as the activities and goals of learning it, and a model for it under the title of Thari al- Harb, finally a field study that came in the form of a questionnaire targeting a group of teachers in the subject of the Arabic language .en_US
