Abstract: IN the beginning of the year 2020, the world was worried about the appearance of a new virus. The results were not known and it was just a broad headline on the news screens. After a while, it became the disease of the era and it made a radical change in the process of the cosmic system. It made the world go through precedented crisis, it caused paralysis in various sectors among them was the education sector where it changed the systems and the methods of education, which effected the academic achievement of the majority of learners especially in reading skill that is considered one of the four main skills. Reading before the corona period was facing great challenges and problems and these obstacles increased after the crisis. It was ecessary to stand on these challenges and find solutions and alternatives to overcome them such as: promote flexible multi-channel learning, which combines face-to-face learning and distance learning using technological means to provide a variety of education content
