Abstract

In this research, entitled “The Educational Dimension in Popular Poetry, Selected Poems from the Divan of ‘‘Ahmed Qajah’’, we dealt with the various educational dimensions that the poetic poems contain in the Diwan of « Poems and Poems from the Revolution of the Free ».In the beginning, we defined the three terms : eaching, learning, and educational, and we mentioned the educational types and their elements, and then we touched on the definition of popular poetry and the terms overlapping with it, its origin, characteristics and advantages, then we concluded the research with an applied study, where we extracted the various educational dimensions contained in the popular poetic collection.We concluded that there are many educational imensions represented in striving and perseverance to achieve the desired goal, urging people to seek knowledge, orbidding illegal immigration, and the need to defend and protect the homeland from every enemy
