Abstract

Rhetoric is considered the art of discourse in which the addressee can reach his goal smoothly and with a sophisticated, accurate, and gentle instrument. This study sought to study the rhetorical arts of the poem Ahl al-Jard and al-Malam’ al-Raqaba by Abi al-Atahiya, by following each science separately, beginning with the science of meanings, then the statement, then the imperative, due to its importance in the Arabic language by improving speech and producing it in an aesthetic and creative image, and knowing who Writers and poets control their employment in their writings and poems.
