Abstract

The ancient poetic discourse was defined as that type of rhymed,rhymed speech indicating meaning, which was built on studied linguistic rules, and the most important thing that distinguishes it from a group of other discourses is its reliance on an aesthetic language that moves the recipient's feeling. Abbad" on this premise, as it aims to reveal the aesthetics employed by the poet Al-Mu'tamid Ibn Abbad in his poetic discourse through a stylistic study of his divan, which we divided into three levels: From the linguistic aspect, it was represented in the poet's language of repetition and structures, then the rhetorical aspect, in which we presented the most important graphic images and creative improvements in his collection, down to the rhythmic or musical level of rhyme, weights and sounds.
