Abstract

There is in the poetry different rhetoricmethods its function gratification the receiver at the studying of the poetry we find a lot of rhetoric methods including an abundance of metaphors which contribute to highlighting the meaning and give aesthetic to it .That's why we Try to look for aesthetic statement in the poetry so we chose the metaphor because it touchesthe heart and mind together.In this search we take note of the subject of poetry in the Abbasid era,then we introduced the concept of aesthetic and metaphor language and minology,then we dealt with the ougins of the metaphor and mentioned its sections and purposes of, then that we studied the metaphor in the poetry of Omara Ben Okail
