Abstract

This study aims to know the role of the accounting information system in settling accounting treatments for electricity and gas bills, the accounting information system is an evaluation in itself due to the importance of the information it provides and that is through producing the outputs, and in order to ensure the validity and accuracy of the information, we will show in this study the concept of the accounting information system and the stages through which the accounting treatment goes through, and explain the reality of using the ccounting information system and its contribution to the settlement of accounting treatments for electricity and gas bills. The result reached was that the accounting information system used in the Sonelgaz company is an integrated system that links the administrative interests within this company and facilitates the process of accounting records for it
