Abstract

This research pertains to the scientific aspect, specifically focusing on the economic study. The aim of this study was to examine the impact of domestic savings on economic growth in Algeria, as well as the nature of the relationship between domestic savings and economic growth. Furthermore, an econometric model was constructed to measure economic growth based on the explanatory economic variables. In the applied side, the trajectory of development for both domestic savings and economic growth in Algeria was analyzed in light of economic fluctuations. Additionally, the study tested the effect of domestic savings on economic growth by verifying the presence of a common integration relationship between the study variables and estimating the relationship between them. The study's findings indicate a shared integration relationship between savings and economic growth in Algeria, with savings positively influencing economic growth in both the short and long term
