Abstract

The study aims to highlight the impact of foreign trade liberalization policies on economic growth, with a theoretical background on foreign trade and its theory, as well as the policies of foreign trade liberalization and economic growth, relying on a descriptive approach. Through our analytical study of the contribution of foreign trade liberalization policies to the development of the Algerian economic growth during the period 2010-2021, it became clear that Algerian exports rely primarily on energy commodities by 97%, which made it susceptible to fluctuations in the prices of these commodities in global markets. One of the results of this study is that the trade openness ratio in Algeria has a positive impact on economic growth in the country.
