Abstract: this applied analytical study, we attempted to address the role of human resource practices in its five dimensions (employment,green training and development, green performance appraisal, compensation and motivation systems and energy conservation) in support of development Sustainable at the university, where the concept of green human resource practices was discussed as one of the most important bets Higher education institutions, this study aims to know the role of green human resource practices in supporting development sustainable at the University Center Abdul Hafeez Boualsouf – Mila-, and the questionnaire was relied upon to collect information Then it was distributed to the study sample consisting of 105 male and female professors at the University Center - Mila - and it was used The statistical package (SPSS26) for analyzing data and selecting hypotheses based on various statistical methods,The study indicated that there is a statistically significant relationship between green human resources practices and a sustainable university. The study reached the following results:•There is a statistically significant impact at the confidence level (0.05) for green human resource practices on the sustainability of the University Center.•There is no statistically significant impact at the confidence level (0.05) for green employment on the sustainability of the University Center.•There is a statistically significant impact at the confidence level (0.05) for green training and development on the sustainability of the University Center.•There is no statistically significant impact at the confidence level (0.05) for green performance evaluation on the sustainability of the University Center. •There is no statistically significant impact at the confidence level (0.05) for green compensation and motivation systems on the sustainability of the University Center.•There is a statistically significant impact at the confidence level (0.05) for energy conservation on the sustainability of the University Center.
