dc.description.abstract | As the world population is moving towards big cities, and these cities need to find new ways to endorse high service levels for citizens which includes smart metering, smart grids, smart parking, optimized driving and walking routes, etc. This smart cities use IoT devices (a.k.a. IoT nodes) such as connected sensors, lights, and meters to collect and analyze data. In IoT networks dedicated to smart-cities, not all nodes have the same importance, and some are more important than others. A node is important if its failure or malicious behavior significantly degrades system performance. The identification of the most important nodes in networks has long been the subject of extensive investigation. Depending on their function in the system, these nodes go by several names in the literature, including: most influential nodes, critical node, independent nodes, dominating nodes, secure dominating nodes, etc.We have conducted a study on the problems of CNDP that need the MIS and using both sequential and distributed approaches.The objective of this project is to propose a solution that assists administrators in the design and securing of smart cities in order to reduce the cost of installing different devices | en_US |
