In response to these questions, the descriptive method is opted for to collect the necessary data, a questionnaire is ministered to 80 EFL students at the Department of Foreign Languages at the University of Mila, and another uestionnaire is administered to 7 teachers of English at the University of Mila .The major findings indicate that the EFL tudents’ motivation in online learning is indeed decreased and that the online learning has a negative impact on EFL students’ motivation. Eventually, the research work prefers a multiplicity of recommendation for pedagogy and future research with the purpose of placing more attention to learner’s motivation during online learning.en_US
