Abstract

In this research, entitled: Women and Beauty in the Novel A Heart of Clay, we dealt with a comprehensive definition of feminist writing, its origins and goals. Feminist writing raises women's issues in society and depicts their lives, whether the writer is a man or a woman. The aim of this writing is to defend the rights of arginalized women .In order to separate more on this subject, we developed a research plan in which we started with: An introduction under which falls the definition of feminist writing, its origins, goals, and the concept of the body in fiction writing. To move to the first chapter decreed B: Representations of the body in the Algerian novel, where we touched on two sections, the first entitled “Women and the Body in the Algerian Novel.” The second topic is entitled Society and the Body in the Algerian Novel. As for the second chapter, three sections fall under it, hich are represented in: the representation of the body in the novel A Heart of Clay, the sensory body, and the representation of the moral body. As for the second topic, entitled B: The woman’s view of the body in the novel A Heart of Clay. Finally, the third topic, in which we dealt with the society's view of the body in the novel A Heart of Clay.
