| dc.description | The management of household waste is a major problem, especially for developing countries. Growing urbanization and the unprecedented increase in population present serious problems for the sustainable management of household waste in the wilaya of Mila, particularly in the city of Chelghoum El Aid. And the present study aims to analyze the management of household waste in the municipality of Chelghoum El Aid and the contributions of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The method used combines in situ observations, quantitative and qualitative surveys, and GPS point surveys. The results show that the management of household waste must overcome many difficulties such as the absence of a computerized database, the insufficiency, the unsuitability of the means of collection and the incivility of the population and the failure of the network of collection. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | La gestion des déchets ménagers constitue un problème majeur notamment pour pays en voie de développement. L’urbanisation croissante et l’augmentation sans précédente de la population présentent de sérieux problèmes pour une gestion durable des déchets ménagers à la wilaya de Mila, particulièrement dans la ville de Chelghoum El Aid. Dans la présente étude vise d’analyser la gestion des déchets ménagers dans la commune de Chelghoum El Aid et les apports des Systèmes d’Information Géographique (SIG). La méthode utilisée associe des observations in situ, des enquêtes quantitatives et qualitatives, et des relevés de points GPS.
