dc.descriptionHearing-impaired children suffer from significant impairment in cognitive development and academic chievement, especially in reading and reading comprehension. This weakness is due to several reasons, ncluding hearing impairment and its negative effects on linguistic development and academic achievement for affected individuals, in addition to the inadequacy of the curricula. Educational programs for hearing-impaired learners and their abilities, and accordingly, this study aims to try to identify the difficulties that people with hearing disabilities face in understanding what is read, relying on the descriptive analytical approach and using a set of tools required by the nature of the study, which was represented in the "sample". The interview and we concluded that the level of hearing-impaired children in the skill of "reading comprehension" is medium.en_US
